Updated July 2022: I published this post in 2013 and have since received thousands of comments and emails from women all over the world. Not only did they find out that travel cubes are much more than organizational tools, they’ve also learned the secret to packing carry-on only. I hope you’ll find this article as helpful as they did.
Please note: I am not sponsored by any travel company (although I now have my own Compass Rose Carryon Packing Cubes). I genuinely love these organizers and know you will, too!
Travel Packing Cubes Video Tutorial
Travel cubes are traditionally sold to help you organize your suitcase. However, this unique strategy helps you maximize your luggage space, allowing you to fit more stuff in less space!
I developed the packing cube rolling method in 2012 and have since helped millions of women travel carry-on only when used as shown in the video.
I’ve shown this technique at conferences, been featured in countless news outlets including Oprah, The New York Post, and MSN, and have even appeared on the Fox & Friends Morning show as a packing specialist.
In the below Youtube packing suitcase video, I show you exactly how you can compress a generous amount of clothing into a carry-on bag by rolling and adjusting your items into a packing cube.
I used this 15-piece packing list as a guideline for the clothing, the maximum wardrobe size I recommend you pack for any trip. Versatility is key to a capsule wardrobe. Learn more in my guide!
The clothing used in the video is an example of what someone would pack for a long trip consisting of various climates, activities, and the need to be ready for anything. Watch the video here:
Watch the packing tutorial here or on our YouTube Channel!
As shown in the video, I use a 4-piece set of slim sized packing cubes. When I first started using packing cubes in 2013, I was finally able to downsize my luggage from a 65L backpack to a 40 liter bag.
I went from overpacking a large bag to traveling with only what I needed – carryon only!
You may not always need to use this handy packing hack, but it works wonders when needed! You can also use a combination of folding and rolling within the same packing cube, too.
To illustrate the idea of rolling and folding, the video below breaks down ways to do both with various clothing items and ways to gain space and remain organized while packing.
See this video for examples of rolling vs. folding packing methods
If you use the rolling method shown in both videos, you’ll be able to travel carry-on only saving you money in the long run. More importantly, packing light makes your overall travel experience much more comfortable and stress-free.
I also put together a five-part YouTube series showing you the different methods to use packing cubes. If you use this specific packing strategy, they can also compress your belongings. This is the secret to traveling carryon only!
Why I Love Using Packing Cubes
I was a full-time traveler for living out of a suitcase for almost nine years. These travel cubes helped me achieve my goal of traveling carry-on only in my never-ending journey around the world.
What are Packing Cubes?
Packing cubes are organizational containers that are meant to help you have a neat and efficient suitcase. However, I’ve found a unique way to transform them into something even better!
I had to make a video to show you just how awesome they really are. In fact, my method has helped millions of women travel carry-on only!
It’s important to note that these organizers do much more than just separate your tops from your bottoms. By using the rolling method shown in the videos above, you can compress the space in your luggage, making it easier to travel carry-on only!
Which Packing Cube Should I Buy?
To help answer this question, these are my tried and tested packing cube reviews:
Compass Rose Carryon Size Packing Cubes
Compass Rose Packing Cubes – Top Pick!
Because I live, breathe, and dream about packing 24/7, I’ve now designed my own packing cubes travel option!
In 2017, I launched Compass Rose Travel Accessories and my very first product was a 4-Piece Set of Carryon Packing Cubes. These are the only packing cubes sized to fit the exact width of a carryon suitcase and they also have a unique color-coded and numbered organization system – the only kind currently available anywhere on the market.
Separate your belongings by color or by number, you’ll always know exactly where to find what you need.
Plus, they’re the only custom packing cubes that fit perfectly into a carryon suitcase. You can stack them on top of each other like shelves or lay them flat on top of each other. They have a strong fabric that keeps their rectangular structure.
The fabric and quality zippers also help you compress your clothing to maximize space.
They’re truly the best packing cubes. Our readers rave about them! Buy it here!
eBags Packing Cubes 6-Piece Set
eBags Packing Cubes
eBags has two types of packing cubes: their original type and the ones with their new ultralight fabric. Their original packing cubes are still my preferred option as they have a durable fabric, strong mesh, and solid zippers.
While the “ultralight” cubes have the advantage of weighing less than the original, they’re not as structured and only offer the benefit of organization. I also found that the mesh ripped only after using them a couple of times (not on extended travel.)
Even though eBags didn’t create their packing cubes with the intention of offering compression, I discovered this to be an additional benefit and utilize this feature in the packing strategy I developed as can be seen in the packing video below. Buy it here!
While these packing cubes all have their benefits, I’ve now created my own version that will take your organization to the next level: the Compass Rose Carryon Packing Cubes shown above!
Bagsmart 4 Piece Packing Cube Set
Bagsmart Packing Cubes
The Bagsmart Packing Cube 4-piece set offers an inexpensive organizational solution for budget-conscious travelers or those that are uncertain about making an investment to the branded products.
When Bagsmart first launched their bags it offered a product that was closer to eBags’s original design. I immediately bought it and was happy with my purchase however Amazon stopped selling it and moved on to the next packing cube trend: the ultralight weight fabric styles.
The ultralight soft mesh design rivals the eBags version mentioned above; they’re both featherlight and serve the purpose of the organization. Buy it here!
Pro Packing Cubes
I was given a set of these Pro lightweight packing cubes to test in 2015. The fabric was featherwieght and seemed incredibly promising. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t hold up and the mesh ripped within a couple of months of usage.
In all fairness, I was traveling full time for four months but this type of problem is exactly why it’s good to invest a little more in quality products. The company has since stated they have improved the quality but I haven’t tested their new version. Buy it here!
Shacke Pak – 4 Set Packing Cubes
Shacke Pak Packing Cubes
While I haven’t tried the Shacke packing cubes, they are popular with budget-conscious readers that are looking for a larger set with mixed sizes. Because of their square shape and spacious design, these would work well in large suitcases for travelers looking to check their bags vs travel carry-on only.
Our readers prefer the Gentlemen’s Blue color but this set is also available in eight other colors and includes a laundry bag. Buy it here!
Gonex Extensible Compression Cube Set
Gonex Compression Packing Cubes
Our readers are big fans of Gonex’s packing system. While I haven’t used their cubes myself, I have used these packing cubes in a size small, medium, large and like them.
They’re said to compress clothes down to “nothing” and are also excellent backpacking packing cubes if you prefer to not take a suitcase.
They offer organizers in various shapes, sizes, and designs so they’re worth a look if you’re on the hunt for options to fit into uniquely designed luggage spaces. Buy it here!
Veken Set of 6 Packing Organizers
Veken Packing Cube Suitcase Organizers
These travel compression cubes by Veken are another popular choice for readers.
They have a mesh top so you can visually see your clothes and can fit a 21” carryon. Comes in three different sizes. Buy it here!
Why Packing Cubes are Worth It
I’d say they’re definitely worth a try. I can’t travel without mine and most travelers feel the same way.
While it’s possible to use DIY packing cubes, such as plastic bags to store your clothing, true compression packing cubes for travel has several benefits and don’t cost that much more money. They’re a game-changer!
How to Pack a Packing Cube: Organization
While there are many benefits to travel cubes for luggage, one of my favorite reasons is that they help you organize. When you’re on the go, the last thing you want to do is waste valuable time searching for clothing.
Packing clothes for travel doesn’t have to be a nightmare. Here are three ways to organize like a pro:
Organize Clothing Categories
The easiest way to pack your clothes for travel is to use a different travel organizer cube for tops, bottoms, and other.
Organize Travel Outfits
Packing clothes for travel with organizers can separate travel outfits. Coordinate the first few days in advance then mix and match as you go.
Organize by the Weather
Packing clothes for travel to destinations with different weather can be done efficiently by separating clothes based on hot versus cold climates.
Use one packing cube to store the clothing for your hot weather destination and use the other for your cold-weather destination. The third can be used for layering pieces. Create mini capsule wardrobes for each weather system.
As you can see in the above packing cubes tutorial, you can organize your belongings while making more use of limited space. Now, I’m sure you know this doesn’t mean you should pack a bunch of stuff you don’t need and weigh down your luggage. There are weight restrictions for carry-on baggage you have to consider.
However, using this technique will help you downsize your belongings with ease. You’ll be surprised to know how much you can actually fit into these clothes packing cubes. You won’t need to check that bag after all.
Make sure to watch the tutorial video above for a complete explanation!
How to Choose the Best Travel Packing Cube
Travelers always want to know: what’s the best packing cube? Well, every packing organizer serves a different purpose. It’s best to have a combination of options to meet the needs of varying trips.
Travelers use them to organize clothing, toiletries, and many other items. They usually have a square or rectangular shape with a mesh top and a zipper around the sides.
There are various types of cubes available in different shapes, sizes, and fabrics. They also have different names, such as travel cubes, packing bags, and luggage cubes. While there are various types of luggage organizers, packing cubes are by far the traveler favorite!
When deciding the best luggage organizer, first you need to determine your needs:
- Do you want to downsize your suitcase to a carry-on?
- Do you want to have a more organized suitcase?
- Do you wish to compartmentalize your belongings more efficiently?
- Are you traveling for business or leisure?
- Are you traveling for a weekend or a month?
- Are you traveling in summer or winter weather?
Whether you’re a backpacker, leisure, or business traveler, everyone can benefit from using travel cubes. I’ve been told that families find these extremely helpful and have been able to pack just two carry-on suitcases for a family of four!
Ultimately, travelers should use different types of travel organizers because needs will change from trip to trip. To understand the difference between cubes, folders, sacks, pouches, and other types of packing tools, please read this post on how to choose the best luggage organizer.
Here are a few things to consider when choosing a packing organizer:
Regular set in assorted sizes | Slim set in one size
What’s the Difference Between a Regular and Slim Packing Cube?
Travel packing cubes are available in various sizes but generally two different shapes: regular and slim. The regular cubes are square shaped and great for stacking in a regular suitcase while the slim ones are slender and can be placed alongside each other.
I originally ordered both the set in assorted sizes and also the slim set because it was difficult to gauge how big they were from the images.
When I received both sets, I was surprised at how large and wide the regular size cubes were and how small the slim set was in comparison.
What Packing Cube Size Should You Use?
A bit skeptical at first, I tested both and it turned out that the regular cubes are quite big and very generous. Too large, in fact, for my needs. They’re more appropriate for a large size suitcase due to their size and shape.
Because I travel carry-on only and due to the measurements of my bag, the slim size works for me. I can fit anywhere from four thick, fabric pieces like denim or leather to 10+ summer-weight items in each one.
While I think the majority of travelers can make the most of their space with the slim sizes, I wouldn’t recommend you use anything larger than a medium, particularly if your goal is to travel in a smaller suitcase.
I stuff so much clothing into these cubes, you’d think they’d rip easily–but they’re made of extremely durable material with sturdy zippers, which is essential for a long-lasting product. I’ve even thrown them in the washing machine on several occasions and they’re still going strong, three years later.
Additional Uses for Travel Packing Cubes
- In addition to using them for everyday travels, I use them when I go trekking to places like Machu Picchu and can only carry a daypack. Using one cube with the clothing I need acts as an ideal travel organizer and fits neatly in a small bag.
- I use them to hold useful items like sleeping liners, scarves, socks, a travel pillow, and clothing layers, when I have long transportation journeys or long flights and want to have easy access to my comfort items.
- When I’m stationary for a few months, I sometimes don’t have a lot of drawer space in my lodging. I continue using packing cubes to store clothes to make up for the lack of storage space.
- In addition to clothing, you can also use them to store other things in your luggage, like electronics, documents, toiletries, and makeup.
They have endless uses at home, too. Read about them here!

I would love to love the Compass Rose packing cubes, but I cannot find them anywhere. Any inside information about how to score these cubes?
Thank you for sharing this I learned a lot
Love your blog and this community. I’ve used the rectangle-shaped packing cubes for many years, but I’m curious to try the Gonex ones. Wondering if they’ll pack down flatter and fit more or just make it so that you have to pack more of the cubes to fit the same amount.
Thank you everyone for helping with packing with carry on only. I feel so much happy with out the extra luggage!!Thank you!🤗
Packing Cubes are the only way to pack! They keep all the outfits organized. I’ve learned to choose fabrics that roll easily and it’s amazing how much the packing cubes fit! The only way to pack from now on!
Love the packing cubes and videos were very helpful in organizing my clothes for my trips.
Thank you for the packing cube recommendation. I can now travel confidently for 10 days in Europe with only a carry on. I went to Greece for 10 days and Italy for 7 days. Love these cubes.
Your video on how to use your compression cubes made such a difference! Thank you!!! I was amazed at how many outfits I was able to take on a 10 day Greece trip! And there were several hotels in different cities, so packing up each time and staying organized was wonderful! Thank you!!!
I watched the video many times on YouTube about Compass Rose Packing Cubes. I purchased a set. I used the methods that were suggested. I was delighted with the results. I was so happy with the amount of space that was saved by the compression feature. Also, the sequential numbers made organizing easier. I wish I had an extra set as they are no longer available:(
I had never used packing cubes, but finally purchased a set and used them for a trip to Greece and it made such a difference! My clothing stayed organized, I was able to pack a LOT, too much in fact. I took more clothing and dresses than I actually wore. I did check my bag, but it was such a surprise to have so much in my suitcase and room for more!
I love these tips for packing cubes! I’m definitely going to try using just slim ones in my next trip with carryon only!
I love the Compass Rose packing cubes. I used them for packing this summer on my trip to Europe. My daughter used a mixture of Amazon and REI packing cubes. Another benefit of the Compass Rose packing cubes is that since they are all uniform in size they fit better in a suitcase than the multiple sized cases. Easier to close and fit more in a suitcase!
I had never used (or really considered) packing cubes, but earlier this year stumbled onto TFG and became immediately hooked on the helpful, practical content. The tips, ideas, and recommendations here and on the FB group guided my planning and packing for a two-week trip to Italy. It was the most efficient packing I’ve ever done, a complete turnaround after 40 years of packing too much and still not having what I needed. Compression packing cubes were one of the most crucial changes of all. I recommend watching the videos and trying a few of the methods to figure out what works best for you. They are easy to use and my clothes looked great. Amazing!
I have traveled for years. Finding your website has been life changing. I have learned so much from you and your readers. My packing has been become so much more streamlined but all the tips I have learned from you and your readers has spilled over into my day to day life.
Thank you Alex for this community of traveling sisters.
I love my compass rose packing cubes! I also have the Flight001 ones with a clean and dirty side that work well but the large size is too large unless you are for sure checking a bag.
I’d used packing cubes for years, but after watching your videos I realized how I could maximize space for our family of 4. I credit this with finally being able to pack for an 8 day trip carry on only! I just wish your Compass Rose cubes were still available to buy! Thank you!
Absolutely love the packing cubes. I am a Sr.and was able to travel 8 weeks in eastern Europe with carryon. Now that airlines are downsizing the carry on size I am going to invest in the slim set. Love, love love your site😍

Packing cubes are a game changer! I have a variety of them, including Alex’ Compass Rose ones and Eagle Creek shoe bags. No matter the trip I know how to organize and pack them to fit my different styles of luggage. Even on road trips, if I have a quick overnight stop, I’ll pick out only the cubes I need plus my toiletry bag for the night. Also useful to pack my emergency go bag during fire season for possible evacuation. Thanks Alex and congratulations on your anniversary!
Your packing cubes have been a game changer for my carryon lifestyle. I also use the Gonex compression, but wished they compressed into a more rectangular shape, but the Combo of the two kinds works for me compressing bulky items!
Carry-on only packers since 2010. Converted so many people. I perfected the process with my CR cubes. They work very well for me.
I love your slim packing cubes, they are a game changer. I can pack everything for 2 weeks of summer travel into 2 cubes and 3 cubes for winter travel.
Thank you for the comprehensive information! I’m so curious to try packing cubes for my next international trip. Will your packing cubes be available again soon?
Hi Amy, we’re still recovering from 2020 and unfortunately our Compass Rose product line has been massively impacted and at this moment in time we’re not sure when or if we’ll be making our packing cubes again. And sadly we don’t have any available at the moment.
Would love to know when they return. This article and others really helped me see that packing cubes were a fantastic way to organize and pack better. Thank you for your insights.
Packing cubes have changed the way I pack! Thank you.
I’ve heard of packing cubes but didn’t quite get-it until I saw these videos on how to pack with them. I searched high and low for the Compass Rose cubes and bra wallet, and disappointed I missed out. With the travel capsule post along with these cubes, I have 10 days of outfits in a carry on and with room to spare for souvenirs! This is a first, Ty TFG!
Hi Martha, sadly we’re still recovering from 2020 and unfortunately our Compass Rose product line has been massively impacted and at this moment in time we’re not sure when or if we’ll be making our packing cubes/bra wallets again.
I have three different sets of packing cubes, one of them is a double zip compressing type, but I find myself always going back to the Compass Rose ones. They are so perfect for my carry on luggage! Thank you for opening my eyes to them.

I love the compass rose packing cubes. I not only use them when I travel but also at home to organize.
Thank you for introducing me to packing cubes! And most importantly for creating this wonderful and informative Facebook page. As a serious over packer😂, I am planning 15 days in Greece and Turkey with a carry on. I am looking forward to this challenge!
How did I ever travel before without these amazing cubes. I wanted Compass Rose but found they weren’t in production so went with Bag Smart and have been very happy. Other travelers have asked me about this type of packing & just couldn’t believe all they can accomodate. I highly recommend them and thank you for enlightening me.
I’ve used an Eagle Creek Packit “envelope style” for years, but after reading all these tips, I’m going to give packing cubes a try. Thanks for all the great info.
Love your packing cubes. Love all your posts. Thanks for starting Travel Fashion Girl I have followed you for years!
Packing cubes are my favorite way to keep everything organized for my family of 4 when we travel carry on. Even better if I can allocate a certain color cube to each person but I haven’t quite increased my packing cube stash to that size yet!
I have used the Compass Rose packing cubes for a couple of years now and could not be move happy with them or the amount of clothing items I am able to pack in them. My girlfriend was so impressed she bought them also. I have used them also for backpacking trips to help with space.
I tried packing cubes for the first time on my recent trip and am a firm believer now.
I bought the ebags on Amazon. It’s a 5 pack with different sizes. I love the variety of sizes but I do want to try the long thinner rectangle ones on your site. When will these be available for purchase?
Hi Susan, as a small business, not a major corporation, we’re still recovering from 2020 and unfortunately our Compass Rose product line has been massively impacted and at this moment in time we’re not sure when we’ll be making our packing cubes again.
We would love it if they came back on sale!
Packing cubes! Game changer for travel and going through customs.
Packing cubes…I love/hate them. They are great for holding a bunch of different things, but I’m still trying to get the hang of the best way to utilize them to reach my ultimate goal of carryon only. Hopefully the tips I learn here will help.
We will be traveling carry-on only for our upcoming 3 week trip to Hawaii, and I will be using packing cubes for my carry on and personal item bags. What a challenge for this over-packer! But, your information on packing cubes has been indispensable! You are a wealth of information!
I travel with a back pack that has lost of compartments for small items but I use packing cubes for my clothes. It is a life saver.
Love my packing cubes. Definitely a game changer for me. Everything stays super organized and I’m not rummaging through my suitcase looking for things. I don’t travel without them. Even short weekend trips.
I have been using my Compass Rose packing cubes for three years full time travel at this point and I absolutely love them! I don’t know how I travelled with packing cubes in the past!
I convinced my frequent flyer, 82-year-old, Dad to use packing cubes, which he did for their latest trip to England, he said “they are a game changer!”. Agreed!!
Your suggestions & video on packing cubes was spot on. I ordered a small, medium & large cube & found the small & medium cubes the most versatile. They worked perfectly on my 10 day trip to Italy & Spain in July. Thank you so much for your insights & allowing input & real-life experiences from your readers. I’ve really enjoyed your website & have sent your link to several friends. Here’s to many more years of happy adventures for you & your readers. 🙂
I definitely think packing cubes are the way to go! I’ve traveled overseas for years and was packing before packing cubes were a thing. I’ll never go back! I really like the Rose cubes and compression cubes.
Keep packing!
Compass Rose Packing Cubes have been a game changer for me. I only travel with carry on now and the cubes fit perfectly in my suitcase. I have purchased them for friends and now they only travel carry on too.
These packing cubes are fabulous. I started following Travel Fashion Girl two years ago now and it has changed my life.
I have purchased most of the recommendations on the site including these packing cubes. I only fly carryon now and wish I had found TFG years ago! I traveled to Ireland and Amsterdam with only a tiny suit case and loved it! So freeing and had plenty of clothes.
Thank you for all of your recommendations. I know have Antomie pants (three pairs) and the safari jacket – thanks to you! And now the All Saints sweater!
I too LOVE the packing cubes and have just used the set for a carry on only luggage trip to England! You really can pack more with these and keep clothes organized! I love the videos Alex has done demonstrating their use!
Thank you for this post! Packing cubes changed my life! So much more organized and efficient in my packing…
Thanks so much for all of the great travel fashion advice and for recommending packing cubes. It’s been such a game changer for me to have my things organized. I love knowing what is in each cube and being able to keep things in their place instead of my suitcase becoming a free for all.
I have a major fear of flying. The anxiety during planning and packing for trips has caused to me to over pack. Like really really over pack!
Now I follow your packing tips using the cubes and videos. They actually help ease the anxiety because I can focus on organizing and not worry about forgetting anything!
Thanks so much for making this scaredy-cat’s life easier with your travel tips!
I love my packing cubes! I have tried many different ones and my favorites are the Compass Rose packing cubes. They are the perfect size for my carry-on bag. They are wonderful for staying organized while traveling and at home. I use larger packing cubes in my dresser drawers at home to organize my clothes. I keep my travel accessories and electronics in a small cube so they are ready to go when I am.
I have used packing cubes in the past but I see I was really missing their true potential! It never occurred to me to pack them tightly. Also with more technical clothing so much more can be packed in a tiny space. Thanks for all the tips.
I first discovered Travel Fashion Girl in 2018 when my family was traveling to Europe for the first time. Using packing cubes and the customizable packing lists helped me stay organized throughout my trip and insured that I had exactly what I needed to bring without overpacking. I now use packing cubes on all my trips even for just a couple days.
Thank you so much for all the helpful advice you have shared – I have found packing for trips so much easier!
Purchased compass rose packing cubes for our rhyme getaway trip this past July. I couldn’t believe that I was able to pack eight tops and one cube and all my underwear and socks in another. Even my husband was amazed!
Thank you for such a wonderful product!
This is so useful. I’m addicted to buying packing cubes; I can never get enough.
I bought the compass rose travel cubes for our trip down the rhi River this past July. They were amazing!!
I was able to get eight tops into one cube and all my underwear into another one for an eight day trip plus a side trip to Paris for five days. Definitely will use these on every trip from now on!
Love my compass rose packing cubes! They are slim and fit perfectly into my carry on. Total game changer for packing in a carry on.
I love packing cubes! Keeps everything neat, organized and you can pack more things.
I have the compass rose and compression cubes and highly recommend both! I can’t believe I travelled without them! Thanks so much for the comparison chart!
These cubes are great when packing light. I really appreciate how they can fit in a backpack for easy carry on and quick finding of particular items.
Wrinkles!!!
Hi Bonnie, one of our favorite ways to avoid wrinkles inside packing cubes is to use the bundle wrapping method inside the packing cube! You can find more tips here: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-clothes-without-wrinkles/ Hope this helps. Happy travels! ?
The long skinny shape packs so much better for me/1
Packing cubes are EVERYTHING! I just take them right out of the suitcase into the drawer.
Hi! Where can I find Compass Rose Packing cubes? They currently unavailable on Amazon. Thank you for you assistance.
Hi Patricia, they should hopefully be back in stock in the next few weeks. ? Unfortunately our products tend to sell out quite quickly, it’s hard to keep up. We’ll let you know as soon as they’re available. Thank you for your support ?
Any estimate as to when your packing cubes will be available on Amazon? Many thanks!
Hi Janet, unfortunately at this moment in time we are not sure when we are going to begin making our compass rose products again. 😢
I heard about packing cubes while researching the Away brand luggage. I haven’t pulled the trigger on purchasing the Away bag, but found this video while doing additional research on using packing cubes. I found it just in time for a 6-day work trip that I was leaving for the next day. With your help, I was able to fit 5 pair of pants, 5 shirts, 1 dress, 3 workout outfits, 2 pair of leggings, 7 days of undies, 3 bras, 3 pair of shoes, 1 belt, flat iron and toiletries in a carry-on. GAME CHANGER!!
That is amazing Tina, so pleased you found the video helpful with your packing, thank you for sharing! So happy to have been able to have helped you! Have a fantastic time on your work trip! Safe travels! 🙂
This is very useful especially when you have the entire family going travel. This saves a lot of space and less luggage to carry. Very clever!
Besides the space-saving benefit, a mom can easily identify if all the needed clothes are already inside the luggage. You know.. kids..they’re too excited with the trip and almost always forgets to bring some necessary items.
This is a big help, thanks for reposting this!
Hi Cris, so happy to hear you have found this helpful with your packing, thank you for sharing! Happy travels! 🙂
I travel at least 4 trips a year. I have never used packing cubes before and have purchased a set from Amazon. Am looking forward to using them to be organized especially on long trips where you move from p,ace to p,ace. They look and sound amazing. My only concern is is when you roll your especially summer clothes so tight, when you take them out are they really creased to wear? Don’twNt everything wrinkled and have to put them in the shower to get out wrinkles. Please answer my question, am going on a 18 day trip to Vietnam/Cambodia, land and cruise, on Jan. 28th/19. Want to get started packing. Hate it with a passion!!!
Hi Joanne, thank you for your question! Have a look at this post for more info on how to pack your clothes so that they do not become wrinkled: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-clothes-without-wrinkles/ Good luck with your packing. Have the most phenomenal time on your trip! 🙂
I ride a motorcycle and go on week-long trips with just saddle bags or a duffle bag with varying temperatures. Sometimes varying degrees on the same day. What system would you recommend?
Hi Traci, you may find this video helpful: https://youtu.be/Z1IT7pjVZ_8. Also have a look at our 10 step guide to packing for mixed weather: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/10-step-guide-to-packing-for-different-climates/ Hope this helps! 🙂
Packing cubes are brilliant. I’ve bought mine from Kathmandu in Australia and used advice from this site on usage. I use them in different ways depending on the trip, but I virtually never travel carry on only – because of things I can’t take on board, because it’s free to book luggage though and because not having to lug everything with me on stopovers (several hours, not overnight, but involving customs, security etc – a pain with everything), but I do travel with a carry one size case and a tote that fits under the airline seat. An extra small one always goes in the tote on board – to hold a full change of clothing (both for change in climate from Oz to norther hemisphere and in case of luggage delays). When coming home, I often re-organise the cubes for clean and dirty garments and while staying, I use them to organise drawers.
Wow, this is awesome Jennifer, love all your different uses for packing cubes for when traveling, thank you for sharing! So happy TFG has been able to help with how you pack with them! 🙂
Hi Alex
Your cubes don’t seem to be available to ship to Australia. Do you know when they might be ?
Heather?
Hi Heather, We’ve just launched a special Compass Rose website for our readers from Australia: https://compassrosetravelaccessories.com/packing-cubes…/ you are currently able to order the packing cubes and we will also have the adapter and bra stash available soon 🙂
I watched the packing cube video & I was wondering if your clothes arrive at your destination with wrinkles? You seem to cram items into the cubes. I have used Marie Kondo’s method of folding & standing clothing on end so you can see everything at once. I have packing cubes and plan to use them for my trip to Greece and Prague. I try not to pack wrinkles into my clothes.
Hi Theresa, one of the keys to avoiding wrinkles is to choose wrinkle-resistant fabrics. One of our favorite ways to avoid wrinkles inside packing cubes is to use the bundle wrapping method inside the packing cube! You can find more tips here: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-clothes-without-wrinkles/ Have an awesome time on your trip! ?
I discovered packing cubes about 5 years ago and they changed my travel packing forever. When I travel I have several 1-2 night stops. The cubes are perfect in that I don’t have to unpack a thing. I pack by putting all pants in one, undergarments in another and the travel envelope for shirts and maybe 1 dress or skirt. A capsule wardrobe is a must. I throw them in a drawer and Just take out what I need and leave everything else packed. Really simplifies life on the road. I have one color and hubby has another. I travel with a carry on and a small backpack which has been enough for 30+ days of travel. I’m not a youngster, 63, and find less is liberating, easier to deal with and the travel experience is what is truly memorable. Enjoy the adventures!
Hi there! Packing cubes truly are awesome!! Thank you for sharing your fantastic packing technique for using packing cubes with us!! Happy travels! 🙂
When will your packing cubes be back in stock?
Hi Heather, the packing cubes will be back in stock from early October. Thank you for your support! 🙂
I purchased the Veken packing cubes for a recent trip and they were so helpful! Made packing so much better. I wish The Compass Rose were still available! Thank you for the great blog posts!
I have been using packing cubes for awhile but your tips have really helped me utilize them better!
Hi TFG,
Avid follower and traveller. My old cubes died a few months ago, and Ive been trying to find the Compass Rose cubes. For some reason searching from Australia ( I think that’s the problem ) , the Amazon site cannot find any version of Compass Rose Compression Packing Cubes. It does show me alternative brands but not your cubes. Is there something I can do, or am doing wrong? Have tried off and on for around four months now.
Hi Dani, I am really sorry but at the moment we are not shipping Compass Rose packing cubes to Australia. We have some issues with shipping there so until we can find a better solution shipping Compass Rose products to Australia is on hold. I am really sorry for the inconvenience but if the situation changed I will let you know! 🙁
Hi Dani, just to let you know we’ve just launched a special website for Compass Rose packing cubes just for our readers from Australia: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/packing-cubes-australia/ 🙂
i used to take freezing ziploc bags and squeeze out all of the air by laying on them, but now i love my gonex compression cubes. thanks for the video! Although i would not have wasted space with the bulky fleece, but instead would wear it on the plane, since i always get cold during flights! 😉
Hi Roxanne, thank you so much for your lovely comment, glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for sharing your trip for wearing the bulky fleece on the flight instead of packing it!! 🙂
I usually roll my items when I pack and I have found the layering method works for me. I do use cubes for my underwear/bras/socks/pajamas/bathing suits, but I have never packed my clothes in them. Do you find that that clothes are wrinkled? It seems that cramming T-shirt’s this way would get them very wrinkled.
I love packing cubes! I found Shacke Pak a few years ago and I use them every time I travel now. Plus, they always seem to fit more than you’d think. And I learned another handy trick that if you fold clothing right, you don’t have to waste time tying and untying things! They stand up by themselves and don’t unfold. But packing cubes are great! >o<
Hi Rachel, thank you so much for sharing your travel tip! 🙂
How does the TSA go through your luggage with packing cubes? Don’t they want to see what you’ve got?
Hi Barb, My luggage has never been searched so I’ve never had any issues with packing organizers. My purse has been the only thing to be searched when I’ve forgotten to take my water bottle out. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful :disappointed:
I think TSA usually wants to double-check on something specific they see in the scanner. For example, a Gameboy, or a can of boutique powdered laundry detergent that I was carrying as a gift. When your items are in cubes they can lift the cubes out of the way to check what they need and put them back easily. For example they didn’t have to dig through my underwear to look at the Gameboy.
Hello! I’m traveling around Italy in a couple weeks and have my packing cubes already to go. I’ll only be staying in each destination a few nights, and plan to do laundry half way through the trip. In between that time, would you recommend just putting dirty clothes back in place with clean where they had been before? Or is there a strategy you can suggest for re-packing before you have a chance to do laundry?
Hi Amanda, thank you for your comment! Let me look into this for you 🙂
I use the shacke pak cubes. 4 different size cubes and comes with a laundry bag. I store shoes in it in the way over and use it for laundry once there. I did this for a 10 day trip to Ireland and a week trip in California as well as various business trips.
I use packing cubes, but I slide a large plastic bag in my suitcase,. I put the dirty clothes in it and seal it forcing the air out. After 2 week trips I come back and my suitcase doesn’t stink.
Bought a set of four small GeoBags last night after reading about packing cubes on your site. I wasn’t sure about them at first but last year in Kenya was a bit of a nightmare repacking my Osprey Tempest 30 every 2-3 days when we moved location, and I don’t want a repeat of that in New Zealand in April when I’m hoping just to take the Daylite Plus! All my small tops, t-shirts and underwear are already folded Marie Kondo style in small squares so maybe one extra fold should get them to fit inside a cube. Quite looking forward to trying them out when they arrive!
Hi Catherine, glad that the website was helpful. Thank you for your feedback! 🙂
What is the brand of the clear packing cube you have in the photo #3 with all the clothes laid out and the purple flat iron. Would love to get that clear cube for my small size for my carry-on.
Hi Nadine, thank you for your question! The product looks like the EzPacking clear toiletry bag! Take a look at this post https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/best-toiletry-bags-for-travel-our-top-10-choices-to-help-you-organize/
The EzPacking clear toiletry bag is the sixth product down. Hope this helps 🙂
Packing cubes changed my (travel) life! Love your method of roll, pack and zip as you go to make the most of the space.
I was wondering what size bag your black bag is in your picture? Is it a particular brand because it looks roomy and soft to carry around.
I will try the cubes for my next trip. Thank you for your helpful videos!
I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found your site! As a frequent business traveler and motivational speaker, I’m on a mission to make my trips as streamlines and straightforward as possible, and your site addresses so many of the questions and challenges I have.
I am excited to have found Florious packing cubes made from recycled material when I searched for cubes, and wonder is there might even be more eco-friendly products you’d recommend!
Thank you for the detailed post about packing cubes. I never knew they existed and they really are an essential for packing light. They have helped me change to travelling with much fewer items and yet a sense of more freedom. Great job TFG!
I can’t wait to share this with my daughter who is spending the next semester abroad! Thank you
Thanks Patricia!
I got the four Compass Rose packing cubes for Christmas and I’m so excited to try them. Now, what do I do about toiletries, flat iron, and shoes?
Hi Jane, yay how exciting!!! What an awesome present! ❤️ ? Have a look at this video to see how to pack your suitcase with your shoes, cubes and other items: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiJK-aB9aJU I would also highly recommend that you join our TFG facebook group and post your question there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/travelfashiongirls/ Its a fabulous community of helpful female travelers that love to share their advice and experiences. Hope this helps. Happy travels!
This summer I went on a 2 week vacation to Italy and my husband insisted we all use just a carry on! I was in a panic! But on your recommendation I bought 2 Eagle Creek packing cubes and they saved me! I fit 15 tops in a medium packing cube! So thank you for your help!
I have a feeling that packing cubes are going to change the way I pack for travelling. Now just have to hunt some down in NZ for my upcoming trip.
I finally joined the packing cube bandwagon! Most of my travel includes extended stays in one place, and the cubes are not only great for packing but for keeping my stuff organized when I am staying put. I cannot recommend a specific brand myself, but I have found that having little handle/straps is ideal.
What a helpful post. Thanks!
I first used cubes just for socks and underwear to keep them from being “lost” at the bottom of my suitcase/bag. I have since starting using them for everything and every trip. 2 weeks in Africa, 2 weeks in Costa Rica and multiple long weekend trips and never checked a bag. They are wonderful and I love to see how much I can get in each one!
They always seem to fit more than you’d expect 🙂
Do the clothes wrinkle when packed in so tightly?
They can so it’s important to keep these things in mind too: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-clothes-without-wrinkles/ and https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-choose-the-best-fabrics-for-travel/
So,do you wash the clothes to wear again?
Yes you do if you’re traveling longer than one week. This is the key to traveling light for long periods of time: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-make-clothes-smell-fresh/
This was so helpful but I’m not sure what to get to fit into a 22″ suitcase. Are you able to advise? (sybilny@gmail.com) Thanks so much
Hi Sybil, all of the information in this website is to help you fit everything you need into a 22″ suitcase 😉
This video is so helpful! Thanks a lot! I bought an eurybia packing cubes last week.I am going to pack my cloth in your way!
Glad you like it!
The slim packing cubes are my favorite and have definitely changed the way I travel forever! I learned about them after finding this website and packing video a few years ago. Since then, I’ve done carry-on only (including a 3-week trip to Europe), and have never looked back! Thank you, Alex, for all of the wonderful articles and suggestions.
Yay Lynne, that’s great! Thank you for sharing your experience with us 🙂
I don’t go anywhere without packing cubes and use different colors to separate tops, bottoms, lingerie, accessories, etc. Haven’t used the slim ones but might pick some up to try. Thanks for the advice!
That’s a great idea Sharon to use the different colors for different types of items! Glad we could help and thanks for reading! Happy travels!
Hi- I love your site. I’ve spent hours reading all of your great ideas! I’m traveling to London for 10 days for New Year’s…. so it will be cold, rainy, snowy…. any suggestions for boots that can go from day to night? We are dining at high end restaurants and I don’t want to pack tons of unnecessary footwear! Thanks!!
There are some great options in this post Blaine: https://travelfashiongirl.com/best-travel-shoes-womens-leather-boots/ Hope it helps! Enjoy your trip!
Your YouTube video changed everything for me, thank you. I switched to slim packing cubes, began to fold/roll/compress and it was so impactful. For a short trip, like a weekend, I use 1 slim and 1 small ebags cube. I even did one weekend trip with just a Longchamp large neo tote bag (the size most women would carry on a daily commute as their purse)! For an upcoming ten day trip in wet 40/50s weather, I’ll add another slim to separate tops and bottoms and another small for beanies/gloves/socks & will be able to carry on only with a fairly small rollerboard. I demo’d your method for my 74 year old dad today as I’d like to see him pack lighter so he’s not struggling with his luggage so much on an upcoming Japan tour and he is totally game. Thank you so so much.
That’s incredible Tania! I am so happy it was helpful for you! It sounds like you’ve really mastered it! Thanks for following along!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful on how to maximize the use of cubes. I also love ebags packing cubes. They really help keep a suitcase neat – especially when my husband, 2 kids and i use the same suitcase.
Glad you like the video 🙂 It sounds like you pack super smart fitting everything into the same suitcase! Well Done!
Hi, I’m curious how do you travel 24/7 ? Do you have a job that sends you places or just super fortunate to be able to travel all the time ? Not trying to be ugly or nosey, I’m just curious. I’d so love to travel more ! I see this is an old post but maybe you will still get it. We just recently bought some packing cubes (the regular size ones) and my husband tried them out tonight and then stacked all the same clothing in his suitcase like he didn’t have the cubes. It was pretty much identical in space. So now we’re kinda undecided on what to think of them. However, we did not pack them as tight as you did in the video so maybe that would narrow it down even more.
Hi Ashley 🙂 TFG is my business and as I’m a digital nomad (working on my laptop) I get to do it from anywhere 🙂 I absolutely love packing cubes so would always recommend them! It’s entirely up to you how you choose to pack but for me they are better for space and organisation!
Hey, may I know what is the brand of your trekking pants? Thanks!
Hi Casandra! This post is a few years old so I used to have some from North Face. Now I don’t trek as much and have replace them with these: https://travelfashiongirl.com/best-travel-pants-for-women-function-and-fashion/
When I bike to work I use a Rick Steves cube to carry my work clothes. It fits right into my work tote.
Love it!
Hi! New to your site, but I’ve already spent countless hours scouring it! Curious about the brand of the tunic you feature in this video.
Hi April, thanks! Glad you like it 🙂 The tunic was from Marshalls and I don’t know the brand unfortunately. I’ve since then replaced it with one from H&M or ones I find while traveling.
Where did you get that white tunic? I love it!
I’me going to Japan in a few weeks and you had just convinced me to get packing cubes. The ebag´s slim in eggplant would have been just perfect. But they do’nt ship to Canada! How sad, you are just a few miles away… I’me super disapointed. Do you now of a we site that those hold them and ship to Canada?
Thanks!
Have you tried buying them on Amazon?
Im going on a GET in April so we will be going to a different hotel every other night and sometimes just staying one night. Any advice on howbto pack dirty laundry back in mybluggage?
i use a plastic bag for dirty laundry then placee inside your packing cube
Thanks for the video, learned quite a bit. I do wonder, however, how wrinkled are your clothes? How od you deal with wrinkles and the need to look presentable.
Thanks!
Hi Joy, great question. I follow the guidelines featured here and carefully choose my fabrics for travel: https://travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-choose-the-best-fabrics-for-travel/. It’s all part of creating the ideal capsule travel wardrobe.
Also, clothing made for cold weather tends not to wrinkle as much as fabrics made for the heat. However, heat releases wrinkles, so in warm climates you don’t have to worry as much about walking around with a disheveled look.
Hi, just found your website and love it already. I take 1-2 trips per month and because they are short and we still have 20 KG per flight (I live in Asia), I have never thought to save space but will be reading through your stuff to see what you recommend for travelling AND looking good :-). I do a lot of training courses too where people are looking at you, including your apparel and shoes. THANKS!
Hi Nga, thank you for commenting! I’m glad you like the website and hope the tips help you on your travels 🙂
Hi Meredith, I haven’t used stuff sacks so I’ll post your question on Facebook to get more reader feedback. thanks!
I was thinking of getting space bags for my upcoming trip to China. (I’m going to study for 2 years). After seeing this I’m wondering if these re a better choice. Do ou have any advice?
I haven’t properly used space bags before so I can really compare. I’ll post your question on Facebook to see what other travelers have to say. Thanks!
Here is the advice other travelers offer: https://www.facebook.com/TravelFashionGirl/posts/612850345405304?comment_id=6835587&offset=0&total_comments=4¬if_t=feed_comment
These packing cubes are totally an innovative packing solution with outstanding design, style, and function.
Perfection in simplicity!
I’ve never even considered packing cubes before, but you’ve got me convinced!
Have you ever considered a packing list for guys? I plan to start traveling with my two sons and a minimalist packing list for guys would be so helpful! Thanks!
That’s awesome Jeannie 🙂 Packing List for you guys already in the works!
Love it! THis makes packing look so easy!
Surprisingly easy, at least it all fits!
I love this- I can’t believe how easy that looks!
These look awesome and would definitely be helpful on my upcoming trip to Australia. I am using tips from your blog to help me pack light and efficiently! 5 months in one 50 lb. checked bag and 1 carryon seem much more realistic after finding your site.
That’s a great compliment! Happy you’ve found it so useful 🙂
I Love It! I haven’t used these before, but I bet you could also pre-plan a few outfits and organize them per cube. I’ve been on trips where we stay a different place each night, and anything that saves unpacking your entire bag to find that shirt you want to wear seems great!
that’s a great idea!
Thought i would share my budget tip…I use tollietre bags from Ross as packing cubes. Works perfectly and you can find them sometimes for $3 a piece 😉
good tip! I love the cheap finds at ross. Thanks 🙂
I definitely need these for my next travels!!
These are really awesome. I have an obsession with being organized and I think I need to order some of these!
you’d love them!
I am definitely going to invest in these! I’d love to start going carry-on only when visiting my Grandparents in FL. That would cut out a lot of the time and worry when taking more than one airline to get down there.
Plus it’ll be great for backpacking too! My bag is 70L so I have lots of space, but these will help for oganization. Thanks! :]
It’s a worthwhile investment for sure!
Looking forward to using these for my two week trip to Europe this fall. A girls trip next month is giving me a chance to try them out for the first time!
That’s awesome. Hope they work as well for you as they do for me 🙂
You are like a packing ninja!! I have packing cubes and was never able to really get the hang of them. This was helpful.
Thanks! Love that I’m a ninja 🙂
Going to Brazil in a few weeks for a ten day trip for work. I need a variety of clothes, but I really can’t justify bringing a huge suitcase. This COMPLETELY solves my problem!! So cool!!
That’s great! Glad this helps!
This is a video that is much needed! I bought new packing cubes in December and had to “DIY” since I couldn’t find any great tips on how to pack using them. I love your strategy of choosing items carefully and also zipping it up as you go to stuff it to its capacity. 🙂 Thanks!
Thank you! I’m glad you found it helpful 🙂 Enjoy!
Thanks for the videos. I have the packing cubes and use them all of the time.
That’s great! Thanks for watching 🙂
I bought the slim packing cubes and absolutely love how easy it is to “compartmentalize”my stuff! I go carryon only and these help so much!
That’s awesome Mary!
i’m the type of person that is “frugal” and didn’t really want to spend money on these things. but i put them on my wedding registry last october and I LOVE THESE THINGS!!! i don’t get how they work, but they totally save space! i normally don’t roll my clothes, i just lay them flat and it also seems to keep my clothes from wrinkling?? they’re amazing! i especially love them for my husband cause men’s clothing is SO bulky!
I’m not big on frivolous spending myself but these guys are a worthwhile investment at just $20 if you love to travel and pack light! Glad you found them as helpful as I have 🙂
I immediately went to Amazon.com to purchase these after watching this video. They’ll be perfect for my Europe backpacking trip this summer!
That’s great! They’re incredible!
I’m going to need to order a set of these, they’ll be perfect for separating out my 2 little one’s clothes in my suitcase!
Yes, not only do they help you stuff your clothing but also organize it too 🙂
I use Eagle Creek half cubes for packing (they’re a slightly larger volume than your slim ebags), but I have never tried to pack them as seriously as you do! I just repacked the clothes I’m taking on my SEA trip using your stuffing method and managed to fit in one half cube: 1 pair of athletic shorts, 1 pair of leggings, 2 long sleeved shirts, 1 long sleeved tunic, 1 short sleeved thin cardigan, 3 t-shirts, and 2 tank tops. In the second one: a reversible long skirt, a convertible dress/skirt, 1 pair pants, 1 pair capris, and my go to long sleeved thermal shirt, with room to spare! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks incredible! I’m happy even though you’re already a packing cube user, you found this method helpful 🙂
Indeed, I went from 3 cubes to 2! Now I can save the last one for purchases during my trip 🙂
haha, that’s a great plan!
I’m using these for my trip to the Czech Republic…and all of the trips after!
You’ll love them!
We bought this on our first trip to Europe 3 years ago. I have been traveling with them ever since, and recommend them to everyone I know that travels! They help keep you organized!
That’s great! Glad you find them as helpful as I do! Can’t live without them 🙂
Bought the mini ebags a few weeks ago and am using it for the first time this weekend. In one mini ebag I put 3 tops, 1 pair of jeggings, 1 scarf, 1 dress, 1 belt, and enough undies to last me the whole weekend! The ebag is really a lot bigger than it appears!
So glad you found it as useful as I have! They really are a mini mary poppins bag 🙂
I’m going backpacking for the first time this summer in China and I am so happy I found TFG packing lists! I’m using compression bags for this trip but I might have to try the packing cubes another time!
How exciting! China’s a big one on my travel bucket list, hope you have a great time 🙂
love this but I so over pack and always have – going to Europe for 15 days
Just follow this guide to avoid overpacking: https://travelfashiongirl.com/maximista-packing-list-spring-2013/
Very helpful! I will definitely be referring back to this when I start packing for my trip to Thailand and Cambodia! 🙂
That’s great! Thailand is one of my favorite countries 🙂
OK, so I have totally been thinking about packing cubes a lot lately, esp. with the kids traveling with us now and me having to haul their stuff in my suitcase. The cubes would make it SO much easier to live out of a suitcase again in Europe for a few weeks 😉
yes it is super easy and convenient! I packed an entire Maximista packing list into 3 slim ones. they have free returns so you can try before you commit 😉
Amazing! I have looked at other packing cubes before but these look much better quality. Thanks for showing how much they hold!
I’m beyond happy with mine. Thanks for reading!
I wish I had these when I went to Asia last year!
I just bought some for my 4-week trip to Greece!
That’s great! Hope you find them as helpful as I do 🙂
Because of this tutorial I will try the slim packing cubes! Bought them a few days ago in red 🙂 Can’t wait to use them this summer!
Glad you found the post helpful! I love those cubes, I hope you like them as much as I do 🙂
The bags are great! I’ve had two for a few years now and can’t wait to get more for my next trip!
That’s awesome!
I bought a set of small and medium packing cubes. They’re awesome. I’m still working on getting the most out of them, but I was proud to pack for a bachelorette weekend to New Orleans using only two medium cubes! That’s HUGE for me!!!!
It’s amazing how much you can squeeze – they really help you pack light!
Thanks to your video, I was convinced to buy some for my first backpacking trip to Italy in a couple of weeks!
That’s awesome! 🙂
Thanks so much for this video! You have convinced me to get some bags for my first backpacking trip to Italy in a couple of weeks!
That’s great! Really hope you like them as much as I do! Here’s a post that might help with packing for Italy: https://travelfashiongirl.com/what-to-wear-in-rome-italy-packing-list/
The ebags packing cubes are excellent and come in several sizes and many lively colors. That brand’s “padded pouches” are another great choice for jewelry or odds & ends. The other best brand for packing cubes would be Eagle Creek, for super lightweight travel the EC “Specter” cubes are good.
I’m gonna check out their padded pouches, sound good! Thanks for commenting 🙂
Your video convinced me and my husband, and we just ordered two sets. Thanks for the heads up; I can’t wait to try these!
Great! Hope you like them as much as I do 🙂 Thanks!
I’m so glad I’m not the only packing dork who loves videos like this, lol! And packing cubes are most definitely the first thing on my travel wishlist. I usually try to organize and save space by rolling items and using Ziploc bags, but they’re just not durable enough.
Ziplock bags are awesome for organization but yes, they don’t last. I’m happy you like the video 🙂
Highly recommend to any traveler! I have the regular size assorted 3 set and it completely changed my travel world. These are a must have!
Thanks Monica! Love them!
Thank you so much for all the helpful tips. I went to London, Scotland, and Ireland this summer and used packing cubes for the first time. What a life saver.
